The app is called “VIP contacts of Pixel”or “Pixel Vips” In the English version, and appeared at the Play Store last weekend without warning; Although it is not possible to install it, the description and screenshots included reveal their mission.
Everything indicates that “VIP contacts of Pixel” is a exclusive version of the contact app that is already pre -installed by default; In fact, some of its functions such as the favorite contact section have been taken from the contact app.
The big difference is that this new app is designed to contact the people who care aboutand it is a mixture of contact and social network app so as not to miss a moment of their lives.
In fact, Google describes this new app as a way to connect “quickly and easily with the people you care”, with additional functions that allow to know more about the other person.
For example, through this app we can See the location of our favorite contacts in a Google Maps style map, with information such as the time it does in its area or local time.
In the profile of each VIP contact we can see personal information that can be useful, such as your birthdaywith a warning that we can celebrate it with the person in a few days.
From the profile we can see a list of the “latest connections”, the last occasions in which we have interacted with that person, such as the last call or The last photo they shared with us by WhatsApp.

In the profile we will also find direct accesses to make a call, send a message, or contact whatsapp, as well as a new function of Private messages notes or reminders of things we have to do together.
