Mobile phones are currently computers. A few decades ago we had devices in the most advanced computing centers in the world that did not have even one hundredth of the power of the mobile phones that we use daily today. In Spain there are even more and more people who do not use computers at homebecause cell phones and tablets already meet their needs.
All web browsing is done from these portable devices, and the applications provide the rest of the functions. Google knew how to see it and created Chrome, a web browser that can be used on computers, but also on mobile phones and tablets. In fact, it bought Android to be able to integrate that browser, in addition to other apps, as standard on billions of devices.
The success has been so resounding that even the US administration is considering forcing Google to sell Chrome and separating it from the parent company, and doing something similar with Android. It is not surprising, the vast majority of mobile users use Chrome.
But what many do not know is that Chrome can be customized through advanced settings that are hidden in a menu out of reach of most users. They are Flags, modifications that change the behavior of the browser. Each one affects in a different way, but there is one that is really useful.
It is about the one modifies the navigation bar, making it possible to be at the bottom. This makes it much more comfortable to use it to write addresses, copy the URL to share it or click on the icons around it. This is an option that other browsers have by default, allowing you to move it up or down, but Chrome only allows it with these hidden settings.

In order to move the address bar, what we have to do is go to the Chrome address bar on the smartphone and write chrome://flags to enter the advanced settings section. In the search engine of this section we put Bottom-toolbar and click on the button with the text Default. We have to change it to Enabled and then click on the button with the text Rebootat the bottom.
When we have done this, the application will close and reopen, with the novelty that a new setting will appear in the normal configuration. We have to open the Settings Chrome and look for a new option called Address bar. There we select lower and that’s it.

This has also been seen in some Android interfaces in the app drawerwhich has the search engine at the bottom. However, the vast majority of brands continue to put it at the top, even if that penalizes the comfort of its use.
