If Google had optimized the entire process of sending and receiving files in Quick Share with an update carried out in November of last year, now it wants offer a very simple alternative to send files between devices with its great novelty: the use of QR codes.
Quick Share has become the best solution for transferring files between different phones, although sometimes it is difficult to recognize the mobile to whom you want to send the last photos taken at the beginning of the new year or those documents to finish the university work.
Even if you use a PC and a mobile phone under the same Google account, Quick Share may have a hard time finding any of these devices, having to disconnect the Bluetooth connection or use Windows + L to open the session on the computer and thus the app. Google finds the device to start the transfer.
And Google’s novelty comes not only to fix these small problems that may arise, but also for users who want send a file to someone other than a contact and do not want to use the “all” setting.
That “everyone” setting is one of the options that makes the user’s device appear to anyone who is using Quick Share, so it is not the most convenient option, although it is true that Google offers the option to make the device discoverable for 10 minutes after using this function and then it stops being so.
